Yesterday Nintendo announced long awaited details about its
new home console, the Nintendo Wii U. In summary the Nintendo Wii U will go on
sale this year in North America on the 18th of November, In Europe,
Australia, South Africa & New Zealand on the 30th of November
and in Japan on the 8th of December, 2012.
The Wii U will come in two versions Basic and Premium. The
Wii U Basic will have a white console with 8GB of internal memory, a Wii u Gamepad,
Wii U sensor bar (US only), HDMI cable and AC adaptor.
The Wii U Premium will have a black console with 32GB of internal memory, a Wii U Gamepad, Wii U sensor bar, HDMI cable, charging cradle for the gamepad and stand for the console, also a copy of Nintendo Land. The Wii U Premium will also come with a Nintendo premium subscription which gives discounts on Nintendo games bought online.

At current exchange rates we project the Wii U Basic will
retail in Nigeria for about NGN 53,500 (Fifty Three Thousand Five Hundred
Naira) and the Wii U Premium will retail for about NGN 67,500 (Sixty Seven
Thousand Five Hundred Naira). Although this is only a rough estimate and actual
store prices may differ significantly.
Some launch day games confirmed in New Super Mario Bros U,
Nintendo Land, Fifa 13, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Mass Effect 3 and Call of Duty:
Black Ops 2 with games like Bayonetta 2 being a Wii U exclusive.
